Parikkala

Did you know that Parikkala, located in Rajamai, is one of the most species-rich bird areas in Central Finland? It is therefore a great place for birdwatching. Parikkala has nationally renowned birdwatching areas, the most famous of which is certainly Siikalahti. So all you have to do is get your binoculars and cameras ready and go birdwatching!

Huuhanranta

Ruokolahti

Huuhanranta is also known as the "Saimaa Riviera", as it is one of the longest open sandy beaches on Lake Saimaa. In addition to a car, you can also reach the beach by canoe. At Huuhanranta you will find various campfire sites and, for example, a barbecue shelter, where you can grill sausages on beautiful summer days.
