Day 1 – The mists of history and the roar of rapids
- 12.52 Train arrives in Imatra (train departs from Helsinki at 10.14)
- 13.00 Bus from Imatra railway station to the historical Kasarmikangas area
- 13.30 Guided tour the legendary Kollaa and Simo Häyhä Museum

Product Tester's Travel Report – Koli through border countries without a car
Editor Jani Halme was able to try out the "Koli to the borderlands without a car" travel product in advance. Aboard the train and minibuses, a route opened up that connects the story of Simo Häyhä, the liberated Hiitolanjoki, the Veijo Rönkkönen statue park and the Koli national landscape – spiced up with local culinary experiences.
Booking and cancellation terms
Payment terms: Trips must be booked 30 days before the start of the trip. The booking fee (25% of the total amount) is paid at the time of booking. The remaining amount (75%) is paid 14 days before the start of the trip.
Trip implementation: The trip will be organized if at least twelve (12) people have booked the trip. You will be notified of the implementation immediately after the end of the sales period. If the trip does not take place, customers will be refunded the booking amount in full.
Tip: Please indicate in the additional information on the booking form if another date is also suitable for you.
Responsible tour operator: The responsible organizer of the travel package is Simmes Oy / Rajamailla. This ensures that under all circumstances the customer will receive a refund if the trip is canceled. Simmes Oy pays the marginal tax retroactively for the trip.
